Today was national run a mile day. You probably can guess what we did, but if you still don’t understand or you are confused I’ll make it really clear; today we ran 1 mile.
The one person that really inspired me was a younger student my PE teacher told a story about. This student didn’t think he would be able to finish a mile. My PE teacher said he was not sure if he could finish either. It ended up that this little kid did finish the mile and walked straight up to my PE teacher’s face and said I did not think I would be able to finish it.
To me that really showed some perseverance, to keep going, not give up, and to work hard to meet your goal! Hopefully next year more schools participate in national run a mile day.
